. The duo's performance was somewhat hampered by a technical problem midway through the song when the stage lighting failed temporarily and they had to continue singing for a time in near-darkness. Despite its poor showing at Eurovision, "Katinka" was a big domestic hit and remains one of the better-remembered Dutch Eurovision entries from the contest's early years.
