He currently resides in New Haven, Connecticut, and is the Director of Publications and the Editor of YaleGlobal Online Magazine at the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization. His most recent book Bound Together: How Traders, Preachers, Adventurers and Warriors Shaped Globalization has been translated in many languages and has helped many to understand the complexity of globalization, and its historic roots.
