Career

Firstly, he served as a teacher in Jamia Muhammdia Arabia Madrasha at North Jatrabari, Dhaka. After passing the M.A. examination, he joined the Institute of Modern Languages, University of Dhaka

, as a part-time Lecturer on 25 September 1980.

Thereafter in the same year on 10 December, he joined as a Lecturer in the dept. of Arabic and Islamic Studies in the University of Rajshahi. When the department was separated in 1995, he stayed in the department of Arabic and has still been working as a Professor.

al-Ghahib has founded a number of Ahle Hadith organizations in Bangladesh. Under the umbrella of Ahle Hadith Andolon Bangladesh (AHAB), established in 1994, are a number of his organizations:
  • a youth organization he founded in 1978, Ahle Hadith Jubo Shangha (AHJS);
  • a social welfare organization he opened in 1989, the Tawheed Trust;
  • a publishing organization he founded in 1992, Hadeeth Foundation Bangladesh; and
  • a monthly Islamic magazine, At-Tahreek

Published works

He has written and published as many as 26 valuable books like [insane kamel, shomaz biplober dhara etc. http://www.at-tahreek.com/downloads/index.htm and some others are still awaiting for publication. His short papers and which that have been published in different Journals and periodicals are more than 250. Along with this, he supervised many research works.
