Marita Ulvskog

Marita Ulvskog (born September 4, 1951) is a Swedish Social Democratic politician. She has been a member of the Riksdag since 1998. She was the Swedish Minister for Civil Affairs from 1994 to 1996 and Minister for Culture from 1996 to 2004. Since 2004 she has been the party secretary of the Social Democrats.
On September 30, 2008 it was revealed that Ulvskog will be a Social Democratic candidate for the EU parliament in the 2009 elections, even though she's publicly negative toward the EU.
