The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is a school of the National University of Singapore
(NUS). It was established in 1992 as the Master of Public Policy
Programme under the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of National University of Singapore in collaboration with the Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University
. The school was formally launched on 16 August 2004.
. It is targeted at accomplished senior officials who hold key positions, and whose leadership role is acknowledged within their own organisation. Unlike the MPP and MPA programs, which typically start mid-year, the MPM runs from January each year. MPM candidates spend one semester at an overseas partner university, such as the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University

The Centre on Asia and Globalisation (CAG) was established in 2006 to analyse the management of global issues and Asia’s role in a rapidly changing and integrating world. Within this broad context, CAG has mapped out two initial areas of research: the mechanisms of global governance, and energy governance. The Centre’s research on global governance
investigates a variety of innovative approaches to managing global issues, including: transparency and information; the public roles of the private sector; and inter-governmental organisations. The energy governance programme examines the policies and institutions needed to bring about a shift to a more effective, efficient, and sustainable global energy system, with a focus on the role of Asia
in shaping globalisation forces.
(AJPA) is a web-based, biannual academic publication regarding public affairs issues pertaining to Asia and the Oceania region. Spearheaded by graduate students from the Lee Kuan Yew
School, AJPA was established to analyze policy-making within Asia through an interdisciplinary lens. The journal seeks an audience of scholars and practitioners.
-Lee Kuan Yew From Research to Policy Lecture Series was established in 2007 to provide students with a deeper understanding of real life challenges in development research from prominent academics and decision-makers and to facilitate learning across continents intended for research and policy audiences with several schools of public policy in Asia and Europe. The first lecture was brought together 200 students from 12 universities in 4 countries to hear World Bank Country Director for China, David Dollar, speak on research methodologies for analyzing the impact of trade and financial liberalization policies in Asia.
The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is situated at the Bukit Timah
campus together with the NUS Law Faculty, next to the Singapore Botanic Gardens
. It is based primarily in the Manassah Meyer and Oei Tiong Ham buildings.
Before the December 2006 move to Bukit Timah, the school was located at Heng Mui Keng Terrace on the NUS's main Kent Ridge campus. There it shared an office park with the Institute for Policy Studies, World Intellectual Property Organization
