Organisation

He was General Secretary for two consecutive sessions in Rangia College. He was the Founder Secretary of North Eastern Cultural Studies Students' Forum (shortly NECSSF). Former member of Students' Council, Tezpur Central University.

Publications

Ponakan is his first published book. This story book is for children published by Chandra Prakash. The stories were published earlier in Dainik Asom. In 14 September 2010 his second book was released. His second book Jibonok Bhal Paboloi Xiko Ahak (Let Us Love the Life) is published by Kalyani Publisher, Guwahati.
