Ano Kourtesi is a small hamlet south of the local centre with about 260 inhabitants.

Kourtesi is a town of about 500 people. It is connected by rail to the north featuring a tiny train station. A church in the east, a school and a plateia. North of downtown is filled with communication towers built by OTE and directly further north is the Kotychi lagoon. The northern part is the plain.

Kato Kourtesi is another hamlet north of the communal centre. Houses runs sporadically and is bounded by a creek. Its nearby hamlet of Kourtesi is Zisomoulaiika in the southeast. It has a little forest.

There is also a small village named Kotteika which has a population of 43 in 2001.
