Film career

Kommineni was an ardent fan of cinema from his early age. He started as an actor in Telugu cinema playing villain roles. During the period, his dialogue delivery in an aptly modulated reverberating voice bought him wide recognition. He portrayed as hero in the picture “Goppavari Gotralu”. Subsequently he has acted in about 50 films like Shri Krishna Pandaviyam

Spawning over a period of 30 years Kommineni Seshagiri Rao directed around 30 films in his film career.

He died on December 5, 2008 at Chennai
