Kertezi is a small village in the municipality of Kalavryta

. It is built on the slopes of Mount Chelmos (Aroania) which are covered with pines, fir trees and rigani or Oregano
. Many residents of the post-war generation dispersed to larger Greek cities or other countries. However many return to celebrate holidays. In 2001 the population of Kertezi was 400.
