Kannammoola is the birth place of Chattambi Swamikal, one of the greatest scholar-saints of Kerala.
Originally owned by the Janmi Namboothiri family"Kolloor Athiyara Matom",the place was a strong hold of Nair families.Now many outsiders from all walks of life have settled here.
