from 1310 to 1311. He was acting treasurer from 1312 to 1314. He later became Lord Chancellor
on 26 September 1314. He held that office until 11 June 1318.
He was once more Lord High Treasurer in November of 1318 and held the office until his death.
He was elected to the see of Winchester about 27 July 1316 and consecrated on 31 October 1316. He died on 2 November 1319.
