This school established in a temporary site in 1986 under 1986 education policy. Now school has buildings for all the purposes, school building, hostels, staff quarters, Multi-purpose hall. There is a Rajiv Smriti Van in the very center of the school which adds to its bio-diversity. A local seasonal river passes through Rajiv Smriti Van. In evening many glow-worms covers the way of the river and adds to its beauty. The elliptical area of Rajiv Smriti Van is surrounded by the road which two bridges to cross the river. This road connects all the buildings like Academic block, Staff quarters, Hostels, Mess and Playground with each other. Everything looks well planned ;it also follows the same architecture as of most JNVs.
JNV Jaipur have awarded the status of the Smart School in Jaipur Region. This Smart Status is given to Top Ten Schools of India.
