Jamim was the second son of a retired government officer Dr. Mohim and Ayesha Shah. He was married to Anjali at an age of 22 and the couple has a son Jacky. Jamim was shot dead on February 7, 2010 by Indian criminals with the suspected help of some Indian and Nepali police officers . Earlier, a person claiming to be from Chotta Rajan gang had also called the Nepalese media claiming to be responsible for the assassination.
