James Gaddas is an English
actor probably best known for playing Governing Governor Neil Grayling in ITV
's Bad Girls between 2002 and 2006. Prior to this he played Vinnie Sorrell in Coronation Street
between 1999–2000, and had a supporting role in ITV
's Medics (1992–1995). He went to Grangefield Grammar School in the same year as Jonny Maverick, the singer.
Since leaving Bad Girls, Gaddas has been appearing in Billy Elliot the Musical
at the Victoria Palace Theatre, playing the role of Jackie Elliot. He has also appeared in Peter Pan at the Assembly Hall Theatre, Tunbridge Wells (2005–2006) and at The Curve Theatre, Leicester (2009–2010), where he played the roles Mr Darling and Captain Hook. He also had a role in Starter for 10 with James McAvoy
' Gaddas also appeared in the comedy Dogtown in 2006 which was aired on BBC Three
. He played the role of King Arthur in the touring production of Spamalot. James Gaddas also played wrongly convicted serial killer Ian Ellis in a 3 part story on ITVs The Bill.
