ICC World Cricket League 2007–09
Encyclopedia
The ICC World Cricket League 2007–09 was the inaugural season of ICC World Cricket League. It was composed by 7 tournaments, played between January 2007 to April 2009, as well as a series of qualifying regional tournaments. 30 Associate and Affiliate members of the ICC participated in the severals events. The ICC World Cup Qualifier was the final tournament, the top four teams will play in the 2011 Cricket World Cup

Structure

The league structure was organised with the five global divisions. The regional tournaments were administered by the five Development Regions of the International Cricket Council: Africa, Americas, Asia, East Asia-Pacific, and Europe.
