Robert Dejulius has served 28 years as principal since the high school opened in 1982 and will be retiring at the end of school season in 2010. To take his place Chris Blesch will be the new principal. Stan Kazun has also served as vice principal since the opening in 1982.

Independent school status

Holy Cross Regional High School is classified as a Group 1 school under British Columbia's Independent School Act. It receives 50% funding from the Ministry of Education. The school receives no funding for capital costs. It is under charge of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vancouver

Sports events are held at Holy Cross like the BC Catholic Basketball Championship.

Holy Cross's facilities include a full-sized wood floor gymnasium, a track oval, and a soccer field. The track oval is not open for public use.

Music

The school has a Juno award winning instrumental program concert band and concert choir. Included are Jazz bands and Jazz choir.

Science

Grade 11 and 12 courses include Advance Placement History, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Physics.

Extracurricular activities

Holy Cross' clubs include Yearbook, Web team, Student Council, Reverence for Life, Graduation Committee, etc. .

Many Holy Cross senior students take part in an annual Mission Trip to the Philippines where they work in Gawad Kalinga
