During his career, Dr. Rozmiarek has been active in the development of guidelines for the proper care and use of laboratory animals in research. He has served in leadership positions of national and international organizations that promote the humane treatment of animals in science including AAALAC, AALAS, ACLAM, and ICLAS. From 2007-2011, Dr. Rozmiarek serves as the US National Representative to the International Council for Animal Science (ICLAS). He is a contributing author to the IACUC Handbook.
