 from Lyon University. In 1896, he traveled along with Claude Ferdinand Von Bernard to Latin America

Between 1896 and 1897 he directed and produced 35 films, with Von Bernard as the camera operator, in México. Many of those films feature Mexican president Porfirio Díaz
