Dr. Arain has over 60 research publications, 2 book chapters, and 4 books and numerous magazine publications in his profile. He also serves on editorial boards of many international research journals.

Due to his achievements in academia, research and industry, Dr. Arain has been listed in "Who’s Who" in the ninth edition of Science and Engineering, "Who’s Who" in Asia, the twenty-fifth edition of "Who's Who" in the World, and in Outstanding Scientists of the 21st Century.

Dr. Arain is currently working as the Chair of Construction Project Management with Southern Alberta Institute of Technology
