In Sensational Spider-Man #15, the Hulk and Chtylok's fight brings them back to the Savage Land, just as Stegron launches his attack. The Hulk subdues Chtylok, and Stegron's T-Rex attacks him as well. Spider-Man manages to reveal Roxxon's secret to S.H.I.E.L.D, and they manage to shut down Roxxon's microwave transmitter, stopping the flood. Dr. Gerald Roth, a Roxxon agent, attempts to flood the Savage Land by detonating a series of bombs; however the flood is diverted into the enormous crater caused by the battle between Chtylok and the Hulk. Roth flees the Land, only to meet Chtylok (and, presumably, to be eaten by the monster). This is Chytlok's last appearance.

Powers and abilities

Chtylok is a 25 feet (7.6 m) tall chicken-like monster with razor-sharp talons, bovine-like legs and hooves, and a large, spiked, prehensile tail. Despite his immense size, he is capable of flight. His strength is in the same class as the Hulk, as he was able to engage him in battle for some time.
