Sydney's ranking as a business event city

According to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Sydney is Australia's top city for business events.

As at May 2008, the report ranked Sydney as the 24th most visited congress city in the world and the top Australian destination for business events, having hosted 64 meetings in 2008.

Paris and Vienna were named equal first in the global rankings, followed by Barcelona and Singapore, hosting 139, 136 and 118 events in 2008, respectively.
