Binika is located at 21.03°N 83.8°E. It has an average elevation of 122 metres (400 feet).
The city is situated in the bank of river Mahanadi. It is 32 kilometer distance from Sonepur district.

Places to visit

Papakshaya Ghat: It is just 3 km away from Binka. Nice place for picnic. Main attractions here are Mahanadi river with wide range,
full of banyan trees, Kapileswara temple, forest area and very peaceful place. Huge gathering during SOLAR AND LUNAR eclipse. Great Ganga Emperor ANANGA BHIMADEV-III cured from LEPROCY by taking bath. Thus people believes and come here to wash all their sins.

Charada Temple: It is also 3 km distance from Binka towards Sonepur. Very old Lord Shive temple.

Baikani: Situated in the middle of river Mahanadi. A small but very nice temple with so many rocks around it. Every year on the full moon day of Pausha month, a festival is observed here where many people joined.
