Overnight camping is available at Crosslands and Tunks Ridge Rest Area plus other small campsites (no facilities) along the Benowie Track. The park follows the deep valley carved out by the Berowra Creek.
Before venturing into the bushland, always check the weather forecast, as creeks can rise quickly from rainfall that may fall upstream from where you are. So be prepared by taking the time to think through where you are going, prepare a small back pack with essentials (including water) and always let a responsible person know where you are going and what time you expect to return. Along many parts of the track there is no mobile phone reception and please dispose of your empty bottles, wrappers and rubbish properly.
