It has mountains all around with two rivers flowing through it - the Sipu and Siyom. Both these rivers converge at Belun Ghat and ultimately meet the Siang (Brahmaputra) which is one of the biggest rivers in Arunachal Pradesh. There is an airport at Along serving remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh state of India (Bharath).

Geography

Along, now known as Aalo is located at 28.17°N 94.77°E. It has an average elevation of 619 metres (2030 feet).
