) at a roundabout, and continues along the front into Cleethorpes. In central Cleethopes the A180 terminates at a roundabout with the A1098 road.

The A180 was opened in 1983 as an extension to the M180. The road surface was known to be especially noisy, but an improvement scheme in 2005 led to the resurfacing of much of the road to reduce the noise, however part of the road still needs resurfacing as it is so noisy.
