Václav Hudeček has started his exemplarily steep journey to the Czech and international interpretative elite in the sixties. Being already fifteen, he appeared at a concert in London with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on 12 November 1967. One day later, the legendary David Oistrach heard him and foretold him a great future and offered him his pedagogical help. Since 1970 until Oistrach's death in 1974, he was a pupil of this great Master.
Since his London debut he has appeared all over the world on the most prestigious stages (Carnegie Hall

Hudeček's pleasant performance and namely his style combining a technical mastership with an emotionally rich tone connected with a verve and lust which he can pass to an audience in an unchangeable way enchant audiences of all ages. His recording of Vivaldi

dated 1992 has still been the most successful performance in the Czech Republic and the violinist received a golden and in 1997 a platinum record for it. He also received golden records for his other recordings.
Václav Hudeček does not devote himself only to old masters' compositions but widens his repertoire range by the 20th century's works (Janáček
