The parish church is dedicated to Saint Margaret, and is a grade II listed building dating from the 14th century, 1749, and with further alterations in 1889 by Hodgson Fowler of Sheffield in ironstone

Usselby Hall is a grade II listed building dating from the mid 18th century with early 19th century alterations and additions, and built with red brick. It was owned and lived in by Alfred, Lord Tennysons grandfather. It was used as a German Officer Prisoner of War Camp in World War Two. Usselby Hall now covers most of the site of Usselby deserted medieval village
