In 2002, while in Argentina, Trisha wrote the screenplay of a thriller "Death Diary and a Motel" that was later directed by San Banarje

 but during posting, the director did not like the product and decided to shelf the film.

In 2006, Trisha wrote, directed and edited a comedy feature Bleep Love which featured the music by actor/musician Ryan Donowho

In 2007, Trisha went to Paris to continue working as an actor in the feature version of the film Money directed by San Banarje that was being screened at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival

It was also nominated for best screenplay at the 2010 Hoboken International Film Festival. and won the Bronze Palm at Mexico International Film Festival and Best Foreign Film Award at 2011 Bare Bones Independent Film Festival. She and co-writer San Banarje are nominated for Best Screenplay award at the upcoming 2011 Staten Island Film Festival for Bodhisattva which is also nominated for best thriller.

In 2008, Federal Case received the Bronze Remi at Worldfest Houston International Film Festival. and Honorary Mention at the Bayou City Inspirational Film Festival.

In 2011, Sugarbaby won the Golden Remi at the Worldfest Houston International Film Festival.
