Tracklacers also signed new girl group LadyRiot to their production company New Track City and are currently writing and producing their first studio album set for 2012 release. They have recently produced ‘Spender’ for UK rapper Smiler, (released in June) named by BBC Radio 1

The Early Days

Steve Daly was a young singer songwriter and with a chance meeting in 2002, through a mutual friend 'Glenn Maher' he met Jon Keep out side a British pub and Tracklacers was born. He bought his first guitar at the age of 12 and started writing songs immediately. At the age of 15 he joined the BRIT School

to study performing arts, music production and engineering.

Jon Keep started writing songs at the age of 8, but spent most of his teens focused on drama. At the age of 22 he decided to buy some equipment and started producing songs from his bedroom. In 2007 after some years working from home project studios, Jon and Steve aka Tracklacers converted a stables in Kent just outside London and opened New Track City Studios which was also the birth of the production Company 'New Track City'.
