Torgo took control of Earth's vampires, and began planning to conquer the world. However, Dracula regained his vampiric powers. He challenged Torgo to a duel and destroyed him, resuming leadership of the world's vampires. Dracula later destroyed many of the vampires who had sided with Torgo.
