Professional career

After his first four wins he lost against undefeated prospect Eric Kirkland on points over four rounds in 2000. In 2001 he KO'd the undefeated Chester Hughes in the first round.

Generally speaking his unspectular but highly effective way of fighting has given him considerable problems getting meaningful fights. He is about 245 lbs but rather an average puncher.
