Dr. Vercellotti graduated Cum Laude and received an advanced degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Genova, Italy in 1979.

He is currently a visiting Professor at the University of Genova, Italy.

Dr. Vercellotti created the Piezosurgical device, a metal tip vibrates ultrasonically and cuts through bone tissue while leaving soft tissue un-harmed.
