The Titanic Signature Project is a living monument to Belfast
’s moving maritime legacy on the site of the former Harland and Wolff
shipyard in Belfast’s new Titanic Quarter. Traced into the paving of a public plaza, the legends of the RMS Olympic
and the RMS Titanic confirm this site’s international attraction status. The stories of ships and city will unfold over the 12,000 square metres of floor space, shared with private function rooms and community facilities. The project’s graphic silhouette is intended to symbolise Belfast’s metamorphosis from engineering powerhouse to 21st century metropolis.
