 in 1594. Toward the latter end of that year, Storer wrote the Life and Death of Cardinal Wolsey — a piece which illustrated his tendency to adopt historical events as the material for his poetry. This particular piece (in conjunction with Cavendish's Life of Woolsey) is claimed to have influenced Shakespeare's composition of the famous play Henry VIII
