Although the village plays a key role in district politics, the people and the village have been neglected by all political parties. Attempts were never made to improve the status and amenities in the Govt. Primary & Secondary Schools present in the village. Post SSC, students would have to join the colleges either in Nalgonda or in Miryalaguda as there is/are no intermediate/degree collage(s) to pursue further.
