Marriage and issue

Theodora married Konstantinos Angelos (c.1085- after July 1166) sometime before 1120. He was the son of Manolis Angelos, and a military commander of Emperor Manuel I

 and would later in 1145 become the commander of the Imperial fleet in Sicily. Byzantine historian Niketas Choniates names Theodoram Alexii avi Manuelis filiam as the wife of Constantium Angelum. Together Konstantinos and Theodora had seven recorded children, although there were possibly eight children born to the couple:
