 name in Philadelphia, where he was born and raised, and was a reference to the song "You're X'ed" by the early 80's Washington DC hardcore punk band The Faith. The Urxed was exclusively a live performance-only musician, with exception to two compilation appearances, and various remix work, until November 2011, when a split 12" with Stephen Steven, was released by PPM Records. The Urxed currently lives in Los Angeles

Process

The Urxed creates his music, largely by the cut and past process of self-made sound recordings, and manipulates the pieces with samplers, delay and looping, spring reverb, multiband equalization, and more recently, various hi and low pass filters.

Performance
