. The group covers wide variety of songs - from the traditional pop and rock to more alternative selections. Particular soul, funk & dance favourites are often laced with a comedic feel.

The Alternotives perform at a variety of events in and around the world. Based in Oxford, The Alternotives have performed at numerous college balls, charity events, fashion shows and private functions, as well as putting on their own concerts. In 2010, the group went up to the Edinburgh Fringe festival for the first time, wowing sell-out crowds and coming away with rave reviews. The Alternotives will be heading back to Edinburgh in 2011 with brand new material.

The Alternotives have produced five albums, including Get Naked with... The Oxford Alternotives in 2009. In 2009, the Group came second in The Voice Festival UK
