Issa was born in São Paulo, Brazil but spent most of her childhood years in Europe.
The daughter of a set designer, Issa started her acting career at the age of seven; doing several professional plays and international theater festivals.
At age twelve, she began acting in motion pictures. Since that day, she has portrayed characters such as Jubiabá, from the novel
