Facilities

The school has its own swimming pool facilities which it operates itself and which is used by local primary schools, and in 2003, the school celebrated success in securing a £850,000 bid to build a new sports hall, after going 30 years without one. The sports hall can accommodate four badminton courts, and was completed in 2004. The hall is available to the public by casual and block bookings.

In late November 2011, Mrs Gwinnett decided that the school would become an academy and would be renamed as Tarleton Academy. This would be changed in January 2012.

Uniform

The current Tarleton High School uniform is a navy blue jumper, black trousers or skirt and a blue shirt worn with a light blue and navy blue striped tie. Alternatively, a polo shirt may be worn during the Summer term without the tie.
