 since August 1993. He came to Nashville originally to attend Belmont University where he earned a degree in commercial music with emphasis in performance and production. Since then Stephen has worked in various aspects of the music business most notably as a producer, engineer, and songwriter. He still lives and works in Nashville as a home base with his wife and twin daughters. His wife, Kara is a schoolteacher, an artist, and a writer.
