. She studied pharmacy, French literature, and she holds a PhD in American History and Cinema (E.H.E.S.S., Paris). Since 1985, she has published numerous novels, short stories, essays on cinema as well as political articles. Two of her books have been translated in four languages (German, French, Catalan and Hebrew). Except being a writer, Soti Triantafyllou translates from four languages and also works as a freelance journalist.

Career

Starting in 1985, she has published numerous novels, short stories, essays on cinema as well as political essays. Her book Underground sky has been translated in German, while her 2000 novel The pencil factory has been translated in four languages (German, French, Catalan and Hebrew). Except being a writer, Soti Triantafyllou translates from four languages and also works as a freelance journalist, writing articles for Greek papers (i.e. Athens Voice).
