Powell is married to Cynthia Boxrud, M.D., who is an Oculoplastic and Reconstructive surgeon. Together, they developed and patented an "Anti-Wrinkle Pillow", which was designed to reduce wrinkles around the eyes while sleeping, by supporting the neck.
