Saleh's father, Muhammad Ibn Ibraheem Ibn Muhammad Aal Taalib, founded Qur'an memorization schools run under the Wizaarat Al-Ma'aarif, and he worked with Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Sinaan since 1391 AH. He also used to recite the Qur'an to some of the scholars before 1400 AH and he participated in da'wah (preaching of Islam) in Saudi Arabia and abroad.

Career

Saleh memorised the Qur'an while a child. He graduated from the College of Shariah in Riyadh in 1414 AH, then did his Masters, which he completed in 1417 AH. While still a student, he started work in the high court in Riyadh, where he was appointed judge in the "Turba" near Ta'if. He served in that post for two years, and in Rabg for two years, and then was appointed to the high court of Mecca in 1423 AH.

Saleh is known for his firmness in solving cases; there was some corruption in courts that lasted for some years, which forced many judges to quit. His skill was acknowledged by the high court when he was only 28.
