Funding

Although there have been numerous false claims that Salaam TV receives its funding

 from political organiziations, such as the Islamic Republic of Iran, Salaam TV's expenses are purely provided by philanthropists who donate money, primarily through telethon events. In its first year, 2005, Salaam TV has held two telethons, during which callers called and donated money to support the channel's programming.

Music

In order to maintain a purely Islamic tone to the channel, none of Salaam TV's programming include music
