Piscitelli backed up Lawrence Turner at strong safety and played in 13 games. Piscitelli recorded five solo tackles, one assist, one pass defensed, and one interception.

2004

Piscitelli became the starter at strong safety upon Turner's graduation. Piscitelli started all 12 games that season, recording 41 solo tackles, 13 assists, 4 tackled for loss, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 8 passes defensed, and 5 interceptions. For his efforts he garnered his first all PAC-10 honorable mention.

2005

Piscitelli started all 11 games his junior season. He recorded 40 solo tackles, 14 assists, 2 fumble recoveries, 8 passes defensed, 4 interceptions, and one defensive TD. Despite the team's 5-6 record that season, Piscitelli once again received all PAC-10 honorable mention.

2006

Piscitelli started all 14 games during his senior season and was named defensive captain of the team. He recorded 44 solo tackles, 20 assists, 3 tackles for loss, one sack, 12 passes defensed, and 5 interceptions. This was his most productive collegiate season, and he was rewarded for his efforts by being named to the First Team all PAC-10.

. Piscitelli broke his right foot after playing only three games his rookie season, being placed on the injured reserve for the remainder of the year. He started 5 games and recorded 48 tackles and 2 interceptions in 2008 and then in 2009, Piscitelli started 15 of 16 games and recorded 80 tackles with 2 interceptions. On November 30, 2010 the Buccaneers released him.
