Biography

Ruth was born in Germany to Jewish parents, Alfred and Therese Klee. She married Hans Goslar in the mid-1920s. The couple strictly observed religion. She gave birth to a daughter, Hanneli, in November 28, 1928. In 1933, after :Adolf Hitler came to power, Ruth and her family escaped to :Amsterdam. There they became close friends to the Franks. Ruth gave birth to another daughter, Gabi, in 1940.

Death

Ruth was expecting another baby, in 1942. She died while giving birth to that baby and the baby died too.

Her daughters, Hanneli and her younger sister, Gabi Goslar, survived Bergen-Belsen concentration camp
