Origins

After leaving Deck Cheese the members of Sonic Boom Six set up Rebel Alliance originally as an outlet for their forthcoming album Arcade Perfect

After this release the label grew to include other artists who were peers of Sonic Boom Six in the UK's ska and punk rock scene. The first of these being The Babylon Whackers

In 2010 the label signed its first international signing in the form of California-based ska musician Chris Murray.

January 2010 saw the start of the inaugural Rebel Alliance Recordings UK Tour, a UK-wide tour featuring four acts on the label: Random Hand
