Rampachodavaram is a tribal village, 50 km from Rajahmundry in East Godavari District. It can be reached by a thrilling launch ride on Godavari River. The surrounding villages are very popular with regional film makers for its untouched natural beauty.

At Rampachodavaram, the tourists can see the traditional tribal dance, Vela, performed by women dressed in bright clothes. Another tribal dance called Kommu, performed by men dressed in typical tribal clothes with a headgear of horns, is also interesting.

About 20 km from Rampachodavaram is a hill station called Marademalli, which is rich in coffee and rubber plantations. One can enjoy the wildlife of the area, while driving through the dense forest.
