Raigad Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 48 Lok Sabha
(parliamentary) constituencies of Maharashtra
state in western India
. It is a new constituency, created in 2008 as a part of the implementation of the delimitation
of the parliamentary constituencies based on the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India
constituted on July 12, 2002.

Pen, Alibag and Shrivardhan Vidhan Sabha segments were earlier part of the erstwhile Kolaba Lok Sabha constituency. Mahad, Dapoli and Guhagar Vidhan Sabha segments were earlier part of Ratnagiri Lok Sabha constituency.
